Molly is for sale (Australia)

Ever wanted to pack up the family and hit the road full time? Or fancy doing the big lap with a bunch of friends? Here’s your chance to make some incredible memories in a fully off grid not-so-tiny home on wheels! We’ve had so many adventures and are sad to see her go, however the big kids have left home and we are downsizing into a 4×4, bound for the Kimberley.

Motorhome:

-Engineer certified to seat 5 people.

-Double bed at rear of the bus with loads of storage underneath.

-extra-long teenagers’ bunk/ private room with space for cupboard or storage boxes at the end. Utility cupboards underneath which can easily be used as a second extra long bunk.

-Baby cot/ bedroom which is long enough for 6-7 years old child. Has opening window, large ceiling fan hooked up to solar and a vent. Closing door, security viewer ‘baby monitor’ and lots of storage underneath.

-Full bathroom with hot shower. 9kg LPG instant water heater and water pump underneath running on solar. We use a composting toilet but can supply with new 20L portable toilet if preferred. Toilet has 12v extraction fan. Bathroom has ample shelving and hooks.

-Large kitchen with 2x burner LPG cast iron cooktop with own 9kg gas bottle, stainless sink with electric water pump hooked up to solar. Loads of cupboard & drawer storage space for extended off-road travel. A 65 (85? Can’t remember!) Litre fridge freezer that runs on solar full time, even in extreme heat.

-A 6mth old 7.5L Bosch front load family washing machine that can be hooked up to mains power or run with a generator. *Please note, generator supplied with bus will power washing machine but is not quite large enough to run it effectively.

-new 400L water storage tanks are hidden behind a second wooden bench. There is a retractable 10M hose hooked up directly to the tanks for easy filling, with a separate on/off tap inside and a viewing window to see water level.

Wood fireplace! My absolute favourite thing in our home is the little rocket stove that my clever husband built. It throws out loads of heat, more than enough to keep you toasty warm on chilly evenings. It has a removable chimney (the ‘outside’ part pops into the inside piece via a hatch that stays closed when not in use.)

-There are two separate solar systems. The first is a single 120W panel with a 100AH AGM battery and MPPT controller in the main bedroom, which we use for water pumps, baby’s fan, lights and charging devices. There is an excess of power here and it’s always on 100%, so you could easily run more from it.

-The second solar system consists of 465W 12V system (3x155W) with Kyocera Japanese Cells along with 4x 130AH 12V AGM deep cycle batteries and quality MPPT controller. It primarily runs the fridge/ freezer and kitchen light, and it almost always runs at 60% -100%.

-Comes with portable air conditioner & 2.5 KVA generator.

-There is also storage underneath for a large tool box (army trunk size) , extra LPG and more.

-Engineer certified baby seat hitching point.

-7+m internal washing line.

-Outward opening front door modification, engineer certified to meet motorhome standards.
